Let’s party like its 2023! In the spirit of Dry January ahead, we’re sharing an alcohol free punch recipe with instructions to spike if desired. May we all find the peace, love, happiness and acceptance we seek in 2023. Wishing you and yours all the best in the New Year!

NYE Disco Drop
x The Sauceress
Makes ten 6 oz servings (+ more if you double spike your punch 😉)
• 4 cups Strawberry Lemonade (we used Whole Foods’ 365 Brand)
• 2.5 cups Guava Nectar
• 6 oz El Guapo® Ginger Syrup
• 4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
• 4 oz Pomegranate Juice
• 1 (12 oz) can Soda Water (tropical flavors are best!)
• 2 oz El Guapo® Polynesian Kiss Bitters
• Star fruit, granulated sugar & extra ginger syrup, for garnish

Pre-chill all ingredients. Combine all ingredients except soda water in a large pitcher. Stir well to mix, then pour into your punch bowl. Top with soda water and stir again before serving. To prepare glasses, dip rims of vintage glassware in ginger syrup, shaking off excess before dipping in granulated sugar. Garnish with a single starfruit before carefully filling each glass with a few cubes of ice and ladling punch. Serve immediately… sparklers and spiking optional (instructions below 👇🏼).

If you prefer to spike your punch, substitute the can of soda water with sparkling white or rosé wine and/or add 8 oz of white rum to the above recipe. In New Orleans, we do both!
