Bloody Pome-quila: Premier Halloween Beverages
Sep 16, 2025
If you want a Halloween drink with drama and real flavor, the Bloody Pomequila does the job. It is spooky without being silly and gorgeous without extra effort. The color comes from fresh pomegranate and grapefruit. The warmth comes from Holiday Pie Bitters, which taste like fall wrapped in cinnamon and nutmeg. Monica Carbonell of Liquid Culture dreamed up this beauty and we are glad she did.

Why This Halloween Cocktail Works
The balance is the secret. Blanco tequila keeps the base clean and crisp. Pomegranate brings tart sweetness. Grapefruit adds bite. Grand Marnier rounds everything with soft orange. Holiday Pie Bitters finish the drink with warm spice and a little depth. It looks eerie and tastes polished.
