The Chicory Pecan Cookie Recipe

This recipe makes one dozen cookies.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup refined white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp El Guapo™ Chicory Pecan Bitters
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, refined white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
  4. .Add the egg and the El Guapo™ Chicory Pecan Bitters to the butter mixture and mix until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. Stir in the entire package of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Roll the dough into one-inch balls and place them on a nonstick baking sheet about 2 to 3 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
