Chicory Pecan Cookie Recipe

Makes one dozen cookies.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon El Guapo™ Chicory Pecan Bitters
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
  2. Cream the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and Chicory Pecan Bitters. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the dough into one-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges turn golden.
  7. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before moving to a rack.
