Named for the Luna Moth, which shares the same coloring, this tequila cocktail from Mayawell, a new tequila and mezcal bar in Birmingham, is sure to be your new summer favorite.
Pollila Luna
Makes 1 cocktail
- 3 Cucumber slices
- 1.5 oz Blanco tequila
- .75 oz Lemon juice
- .5 oz St Germain
- .25 oz El Guapo® Ginger Syrup
- .25 oz 1:1 Simple syrup*
- 2 dashes El Guapo® Cucumber Lavender Bitters
- Topo Chico
In a clean shaker, muddle two cucumber slices before adding tequila, juice, St. Germain & syrups. Fill shaker with ice & shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into a collins glass over ice & fill to brim with club soda. Top with bitters & garnish with a cucumber wheel before serving.
*To make 1:1 simple, bring 1 cup of water to a boil and remove from heat source. Stir one cup refined white sugar into water and continue stirring until completely dissolved. Syrup will keep for up to two weeks if properly refrigerated.
