Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a clean blender (we prefer a Vitamix for consistency), pour 2 cups of ice and top with the El Guapo™ Lemon Drop Mixer, El Guapo™ Rose Cordial, and vodka.
  2. Blend on medium-high for 60 to 75 seconds until the ice is completely pulverized.
  3. Add additional ice if the mixture is too soupy, or more mixer and cordial if the mixture is too stiff; every blender is different.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lowball glass and garnish with yard flowers and leaves before serving.

Flavor Profile: A Celebration of Rose and Lemon

This frozen cocktail is a delicate and balanced drink. The fragrant rose notes from the El Guapo™ Rose Cordial are beautifully complemented by the zesty citrus of the El Guapo™ Lemon Drop Mixer, creating a bright and refreshing flavor. The vodka provides a clean base that allows the other flavors to shine, while the frozen texture makes it a perfect, icy treat for warm weather.

Yes, you can easily substitute rosé wine for the vodka in this recipe to create a truly frozen rosé drink. Keep in mind that rosé wine will have a lower alcohol content and may require slightly less blending time to maintain a firm consistency.

What's the difference between a slushie and a frozen cocktail?
