Smoky Hot Cocoa: Velvety El Guapo Spiced Cocoa Bitters
Sep 14, 2025
When the weather turns cold, this smoky hot cocoa is the kind of zero-proof comfort that wraps you up like a blanket. It is rich, creamy and deeply aromatic. We created it with our friends at For Bitter For Worse, one of our favorite woman-owned, spirit-free brands. Their Smoky No. 56 brings the campfire. Our Spiced Cocoa Bitters bring the depth. Together they turn simple cocoa into something special.

The Aromatic Finish: Spiced Cocoa Bitters for Zero-Proof Warmth
This drink proves that zero-proof never has to mean zero flavor. Smoky No. 56 adds depth without heaviness. The Spiced Cocoa Bitters layer in chocolate, cinnamon and a whisper of chili for warmth. The result is comforting and complex. Perfect for Dry January or any night you want something cozy with real character.
