Just in time for the heat of summerâĻ try our sweet & spicy peach raspberry mezcal margarita! We whip these up at home in our trusty â70s model Vitamix, but theyâre easy to recreate with any blender. Canât wait to hear what you think. Fun Fact: did you know Oaxacan mezcal distilleries are called palenques [paâleÅkes]?
Peach Raspberry Mezcal Margarita
The Sauceress
Makes 3 to 4 cocktails
âĸ 6 oz Mezcal (we âĨī¸ @lalocuramezcal)
âĸ 1.5 oz Triple Sec
âĸ 3 oz El GuapoÂŽ Lime Cordial
âĸ Juice of 1/2 Lime
âĸ 6 oz pack Raspberries, frozen
âĸ 2-3 ripe Peaches, pits & skins removed, sliced + frozen
âĸ 2 cups ice
âĸ Spicy Rim Salt (we mix 2 tablespoons TabascoÂŽ red pepper mash with 4 tablespoons @jacobsensaltco course sea salt)
Prep & freeze peaches and raspberries in advance. Combine all ingredients in a blender (we âĨī¸ @vitamix). Blender until completely smooth. Optional â place mixture in freezer for about 30-45 minutes for extremely firm consistency. Rim a glass using a lime wedge & pre-made spicy salt. (store bought or plain salt works fine, too.) Fill glass with frozen cocktail. Garnish with lime wheel & crushed frozen raspberries. CHEERS!
