Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute fresh passion fruit for the pulp?

Yes. Use the pulp of one or two fresh passion fruits for every ounce of packaged pulp.

What kind of rum works best?

A clean white rum keeps the flavors bright. A lightly aged rum adds depth if you want to experiment.

Can I make a non alcoholic version?

Yes. Swap the gin and rum for a non alcoholic spirit alternative or a splash of sparkling water. Replace the liqueurs with flavored syrups and use a non alcoholic sparkling wine on top.

Why is the garnish so important in a tiki drink?

Tiki is about flavor and spectacle. The garnish sets the mood and turns a great drink into an experience.
